While attending law school, Lisa was President of the Intellectual Property Law Association and received a B. Hugh Burgess Law Scholarship.   Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology and a Master of Science degree in immunology and molecular pathogenesis. While attending Emory University, her work and Master’s thesis centered upon the mechanisms of signal transduction via glycosyl phosphatidylinositol anchored receptors.   Published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry and theJournal of Biochemical and Biophysical Methods, her broad research experience also includes recombinant DNA technology, mammalian cell culture, antibody generation and a variety of immunochemical assays such as ELISA and RIA.
